Building off the Build A Better Block (BABB) 2018 event, the Potential on Central committee brainstormed ideas to continue to drive traffic to the Central Avenue Corridor. The Potential on Central initiative was born. The Path to Potential walking tour of the corridor was a pre-cursor to the Central Express to showcase vacant storefronts to potential pop-up shops.

In partnership with the current building and business owners, Dubuque Main Street looks to build momentum in the Central Avenue Corridor. Fridays and Saturdays (Nov. 8- Dec. 21) will have Holiday and Arts pop-up shops open, all to show the Potential on Central.

During the time frame the shops are all open {Friday: 5/530-730/8 P.M. & Saturday: 12-4 P.M.} , music and family friendly activities will be held.

Stay tuned to the Dubuque Main Street Facebook Page for the event’s details!

The Potential on Central initiative is led by Dubuque Main Street to encourage economic revitalization of the Central Avenue Corridor through business micro-recruiting, support of historic property renovation and neighborhood promotion.
